Co-founder & CEO
Hamish leads OneLeap’s overall development and is responsible for major innovation strategy and capability projects with key FTSE100/F500 clients, often at excom level. He speaks globally on innovation and strategy and has guest-lectured at Cambridge and Harvard. Prior to founding OneLeap, Hamish was a senior adviser in the UK Prime Minister’s Strategy Unit, consulted independently, and was a lawyer and trade negotiator working on international free trade agreements in China and at the World Trade Organisation. He also built several non-profit initiatives in education and human rights fields. He holds an MBA (Dist.) together with degrees in Law and Philosophy. He was a Cambridge Gates Scholar.
Alex leads our practice developing innovative leaders and runs several major entrepreneurial culture change programmes for clients from Europe to Africa. Alex was educated at the Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst and began his career as a Parachute Regiment officer, serving on combat operations across the globe. He then moved into a senior advisory role, working with executives on strategy execution in FTSE 100 and Fortune 500 companies throughout the Europe, the Middle East, and the US. During this time, Alex co-designed and built the leadership academy for Walmart USA's top talent, working with its now-CEO. A seasoned social entrepreneur, Alex’s projects include founding Row2Recovery, generating £1m for the wounded veteran community, some of whom he rowed with across the Atlantic. He has a law degree from the University of Edinburgh.
Julia develops business strategy and innovation systems. She has worked with clients across industries ranging from banking to FMCG to retail and has guest lectured at Harvard. She has founded ventures ranging from talent management to business productivity software; she's worked with internet TV startup Philo, now one of FastCompany's 50 Most Innovative Companies; and she ran the Harvard Innovation Lab's first incubator program. Prior to OneLeap, Julia led work on mobile and desktop personalization as a Product Manager for Windows 10 at Microsoft. Julia graduated with a degree in psychology and computer science from Harvard University.
JULIET WAGNER, PH.D.
Juliet advises on innovation strategy, community, and capability design across a range of sectors from finance to higher education and retail. She combines hands-on experience building and developing communities with a rigorous research-driven approach. Prior to OneLeap, Juliet lectured at Harvard and Vanderbilt Universities, where she also helped to foster connections across the university and with local leaders. Her high-impact teaching and facilitation at Harvard was recognised with several awards, while her innovative research on the history of psychology received prestigious international grants from the Mellon Foundation, the Krupp Foundation and the DAAD. Juliet's broad experiences also include the non-profit sector, where she worked with Physicians for Human Rights, USA. Juliet grew up in Luxembourg and holds a Ph.D. from Harvard University and an M.A. from Jesus College, University of Cambridge.
Strategist - Leadership and Innovation
Abbey is focused on developing innovative leaders as well as innovation strategy for our clients. She began her career working with award-winning innovation and growth consultancy, Bow & Arrow, on projects for Google, O2, and Sainsbury's, before joining Deloitte and then finally McKinsey & Co. As a consultant, Abbey worked in over 50 cities across Europe and the USA advising FTSE100 leadership teams on a broad range of strategic issues, with a focus on organisational topics. Abbey has always had a strong interest in leadership and adult development, which led her to a management role in McKinsey’s learning centre of excellence. Here, she played a key role in developing experiential learning programmes and co-created three industry-leading digital learning games. Abbey is also a professional life coach in her spare time, working on her accreditation with the International Coach Federation. Abbey graduated with a masters degree in Chemistry from Oxford University.
Safiya-Mae is OneLeap’s expert at the production and management of high-impact, complex experiences and projects. Safiya creates and organises simulations, community events, and major international programmes with our clients. Safiya developed her expertise at the highest levels of the global media industry: from campaigns and logistics at Sony/BMG for artists such as Whitney Houston and Puff Daddy, to managing operations, production, and partnerships working to the SVP of Elektra, a division of AOL Time Warner in Los Angeles. Prior to joining OneLeap, Safiya also founded an exclusive London luxury brand community. An advanced project manager, Safiya holds qualifications in marketing management and design from the Instituto Di Moda Burgo in Milan.

FOUNDER + CHAIRMAN, LOVESPACE
Brett is currently chairman of LoveSpace, a rapidly-growing by-the-box storage solution which picks up and delivers straight to your front door. Brett previously co-founded StreetCar, the first and largest pay-as-you-go car club in the UK, with a turnover in excess of £23m when it was acquired by US-based Zipcar in 2010. Brett worked at FMCG giant Mars for seven years before launching StreetCar. He now spends his time as a non-executive director and investor across a wide-ranging portfolio of high growth startup businesses.
Joana is a multi-award-winning partner at Jampp, a high growth B2B mobile advertising platform, initially focused on Latin America and now expanding into developed markets. Based between CapeTown and San Francisco, and frequently working in Brazil and France, she is also an ambassador for Papaya Ventures, an incubator and venture fund. Previously, Joana established Voyage Prive in Brazil and was its first CEO. She has also founded an architecture startup and worked with Microsoft. Additionally, Joana has edited an international magazine for startups, of which she is still part-owner.

Chris Vaughn is the CEO & Founder of Saucey, an on-demand mobile alcohol delivery platform, introducing new advertising capabilities for brands and unlocking never-before-seen consumer drinking data, changing the way both targeting and reporting work in the $105B/yr U.S. alcohol industry. Formerly CEO of Jarvus (acquired by textPlus), Chris became Director of Marketing and Business Development for textPlus, one of the largest mobile messaging apps in the world. Chris has grown company revenues from zero to millions of dollars in less than 12 months and worked directly with some of the top brands in the world, including Anheuser Busch, Absolut, UMe, MeUndies, The Sinatra Family, and many others on their marketing strategies.
DR. BETH ALTRINGER
Lecturer, Innovation & Design, Harvard
Dr. Beth Altringer is based at the Harvard John A. Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences and the Graduate School of Design, and also a Faculty Associate of the Berkman Center for Internet and Society. She runs the Desirability Lab and uses design and psychological research to help innovators embed desirability into the product experiences they create, and manage the inherent challenges of interdisciplinary creative work. She has worked with hundreds of teams across a range of multinational companies and educational institutions, using both qualitative and quantitative methods to explore these questions, including: Piaggio Fast Forward, Harvard Innovation Lab, Stanford D-School, MIT, Berkman Center, Artscience Labs, Kering/Gucci Group/Puma, Swarovski, ARG Design/City of Cape Town, 2010 FIFA World Cup and others. During her PhD at Cambridge University, visiting scholarship at Stanford and postdoctoral work at MIT, Beth studied design teams and clients at IDEO and JWT across 11 countries spanning six continents, developing a model explaining team creative performance differences that was later implemented. Prior to the PhD, she studied architecture at the University of Cape Town focusing on sustainability, design and the FIFA 2010 World Cup preparations. This built on Beth's previous research on design and major sporting events during a Fulbright Scholarship in Barcelona.

Dr. Adam Parr is an entrepreneur and investor based in Oxford. He chairs the Oxford University machine-learning spin-out, Mind Foundry, and is a director of Cosworth Group. He is an advisor to Apolitical.co. Adam raised the finance for ingenie.com, acquired by Watchstone Group, and QuantumBlack, acquired by McKinsey & Co. A barrister by training, Adam served as Chief Executive and Chairman of the Williams F1 team between 2006 and 2012. He is a graduate of Cambridge University and holds a PhD from University College London.

A serial entrepreneur with a strong interest in communities of entrepreneurs, Robyn began her career with BP and the Financial Times. Her enterprises include Apolitical and the acclaimed Mothers for All, a Southern African social enterprise backed by the World Bank, Barclays and the EU. She is also a bestselling author: her first book is an acclaimed memoir about growing up in Botswana. She holds degrees in Bioinformatics and Bioscience Enterprise and was a Cambridge Gates Scholar. She is an Ambassador for the Access to Medicine Index, and a World Economic Forum Young Global Leader.
